July 25, 2024 – Wexford Health is pleased to announce that the company began providing comprehensive correctional health care services to the Western Virginia Regional Jail Authority in Roanoke, Virginia. The new contract is for three years, serving approximately 600 adult detainees and incarcerated individuals.
Wexford Health has a strong history of providing correctional health care services in both the Commonwealth and the surrounding region. The company is currently the correctional health care provider for the South West Virginia Regional Jail Authority, located in Meadowview, Virginia, as well as the statewide correctional health care provider for the State of West Virginia.
