Wexford Health Sources, Inc. Begins Providing Comprehensive Health Care Services to Douglas County Correction Center in Omaha, Nebraska
September 10, 2024 – Wexford Health is pleased to announce that the company recently began providing comprehensive correctional health care services for the Douglas County Department of Corrections in Omaha, Nebraska. The new contract is for three years, serving more than 1,000 adult detainees and incarcerated individuals.
Wexford Health has a strong history of providing correctional health care services for jails and jail authorities throughout the Unites States. Vice President of Jail Operations Doug Mote said, “We are very happy that Douglas County selected Wexford Health as its correctional health care provider, given our successful track record working with jails of similar size, nationally.
“Our transition process has been seamless, and we look forward to continue working with Douglas County’s jail leadership, staff, and security teams.”
