New Mexico Corrections Department, Project ECHO, and Wexford Health team publish paper in the Journal of Viral Hepatits on expanding the state’s prison Hepatitis C Treatment program

Working together, the New Mexico Corrections Department, Wexford Health Sources, Inc., Project ECHO, and NM Peer Education Program expanded the statewide Hepatitis C treatment program.  Click here to read the abstract on Expanding Hepatitis C Virus Treatment in the New Mexico State Prison System: Using the ECHO Model for Provider and Prison Peer Education. The use of these programs are a model for expanding treatment in prisons across the world.
