Quality Management

Wexford Health implements a comprehensive Quality Management Program (QMP) for each client to identify, assess, and resolve issues that may impact health care delivery. Through the QMP, we monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care, track outcome measures, and ensure contract compliance.

The QMP begins at contract transition with a thorough orientation for new employees and continues through all phases and management levels. We have developed and implemented innovative programs to ensure our clients receive the highest levels of service and efficiency.

  • Our internal Quality Management and Corporate Compliance department, composed of certified clinical auditors, licensed nurses, and industry experts, oversees all quality improvement, accreditation, and clinical training projects for Wexford Health and client staff.
  • We offer a Preceptor-based orientation program in which selected senior clinicians share their expertise, experience, and training with new employees.
  • Our Peer Review program monitors clinicians’ practice patterns against Wexford Health standards, identifies strengths and areas for improvement, and holds providers accountable for the integrity and quality of patient care.
  • The Quality Scorecard audit reviews key performance indicators to measure clinical, operational, and administrative efficiency, providing a clear assessment of quality care at each contracted facility.
  • Our Accreditation Process Manual includes guidelines, checklists, and timelines to support ACA or NCCHC accreditation and help identify opportunities for operational improvement.
