Patients progress through treatment using the Stages of Change model, potentially earning time credits as they meet each level's goals, with individualized care plans developed in collaboration with their counselors.

Quality is maintained through consistent oversight: monthly multi-disciplinary meetings bring together mental health, medical, custody, and facility leadership at every site; regional leaders conduct quarterly site visits for ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement; and ARS staff receive regular clinical training, including DBT certification for all new hires.
