Chronic Pain Management

This group is designed for anyone living with ongoing pain — whether it stems from a physical condition, the natural effects of aging, or symptoms that don't have a clear medical cause. Regardless of the underlying reason, chronic pain can take a toll on daily life, and our program is built to help.

How it works

Rather than focusing only on the source of the pain, this program teaches practical cognitive and behavioral techniques that help patients change how they experience and respond to pain. Behavioral health intervention in the treatment of chronic pain is evidence-based and recommended as first-line treatment. Participants learn tools to:

  • Manage how pain is perceived and processed
  • Keep pain from disrupting daily activities and routines
  • Improve overall quality of life
  • Reduce reliance on medications and other interventions over time
